Inflammation Think Tank

The Cura Foundation hosted a unique multidisciplinary event “Inflammation: Shared Pathways in Diverse Diseases” on September 24-25, 2021, uniting inflammation specialists from leading global institutions.

This global inflammation meeting was organized by the Cura Foundation with the educational support of the Worldwide Network for Innovation in Clinical Education and Research (WNICER) and focused on Building Bridges Among Disciplines to Advance Knowledge and Public Health. The goals of this gathering were to better understand inflammation in diverse diseases, provide a structured assessment for its evaluation and improve therapeutic approaches to modulate inflammatory pathways and processes. Templeton Prize Ceremony

The Cura Foundation proudly supported and participated in the Templeton Prize Ceremony to celebrate NIH Director Dr. Francis Collins – the 2020 Templeton Prize Laureate. The Templeton Prize honors individuals whose exemplary achievements advance Sir John Templeton’s philanthropic vision: harnessing the power of the sciences to explore the deepest questions of the universe and humankind’s place and purpose within it. Dr. Collins joins a list of 50 Prize recipients including Mother Teresa (the inaugural award in 1973), the Dalai Lama (2012), and Archbishop Desmond Tutu (2013). Learn more
