Cura’s COVID-19 PPE Fund & Program

Cura supports and partners with organizations that serve vulnerable communities to contribute to its mission of improving human health and increasing quality of life, globally. To fight the spread of the coronavirus, Cura has collected donations to support our new initiative, the COVID-19 PPE fund to give personal protective equipment to the most vulnerable. So far, we have partnered with the Carter Burden Network and Change for Kids to help vulnerable seniors and children in New York. Through these partnerships, we have donated hand sanitizer and masks to protect these communities.

Cura’s webinars, conferences and programs are made possible with the help of our many supporters. Carter Burden Network

Carter Burden Network promotes the well-being of seniors 60 and older through a continuum of services, advocacy, arts and culture, health and wellness and volunteer programs, all oriented to individual, family and community needs. We are dedicated to supporting the efforts of older people to live safely and with dignity.

As a leader in aging services in NYC, the Carter Burden Network welcomes seniors to participate in programs and attend centers offering vital resources that support your independence and provide opportunities to form connections that enrich your life.

We encourage individuality, celebrate culture and ensure your voice is heard. We not only want you to feel involved, but inspired. We strive to help you begin the discovery of your best self the moment you walk through the doors of one of our centers or programs or receive a visit from our staff in your own home.

Change for Kids

Change for Kids (CFK) is a New York City-based youth development organization that helps kids living in under-resourced communities develop the skills, awareness, and connections necessary to realize the future of their dreams. Through partnerships with public elementary schools across all five boroughs of New York City, CFK creates opportunities for kids so they can overcome inequity.

Our goal is for all kids to have a fair chance at success – now and in the future. However, success is too often dictated by the zip code in which you live or the color of your skin, not your potential. In order to have a fair chance, all kids need access to opportunities to help them dream big and bold, plus the chance to develop personal agency over their future. Through a purposeful blend of programs and people, we give young people the opportunity to discover who they are, what they want to be in the future, and how to get there.
