Cura is dedicated to building bridges between seemingly disparate groups, engaging people from diverse fields and backgrounds to foster peace, trust and cooperation and harness the power of collaboration for a healthier future and a more sustainable world.

Educate

  • Educate the public and the next generation of thought-leaders on the intersection of science with faith, culture and society
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary knowledge-sharing and understanding to create consensus for greater impact in scientific and medical inquiry (ex. Inflammation Think Tank)
  • Educate the public on the intersections between faiths, cultures and nations to foster peace, trust, cooperation and understanding to create consensus for greater impact with foci on:
    • Health and well-being
    • Science and innovation
    • Environment and sustainability
    • Faith, culture and society, and
    • Individual and community

Collaborate

  • Programs, projects, events, touchpoints and collaborative experiences aiming to build bridges, develop human capital and foster trust, cooperation and peace with foci on:
    • Health and well-being
    • Science and innovation
    • Environment and sustainability
    • Faith, culture and society, and
    • Individual and community
  • Bridging Science and Faith: continue programs building bridges between science and faith, including global events (the Vatican, Israel and UAE) that foster dialogue and collaboration
  • Support and promote interdisciplinary knowledge-sharing and learning (think tanks, projects and events)
  • Partner with like-minded organizations on Giving Back initiatives
  • Support research initiatives and projects
  • Create touchpoints and bring together leaders of faith and government and leading scientists, medical providers, policymakers, philanthropists and influencers to nurture inter-disciplinary, inter-faith, cross-cultural, and international understanding

Initiatives, Projects and Campaigns

  • The Bridging Science and Faith Project – a unique forum where prominent speakers with backgrounds in science, medicine, theology and philosophy explored the role of religion, faith and spirituality in health and wellbeing, as well as the relationship between the mind, body and soul.  This project is made possible through the generous support of a grant from the John Templeton Foundation (JTF).
  • The Cura Foundation is focused on understanding the impact of science on society, culture and faith. Cura works to inspire powerful conversations across all major religions, cultures, economies, and borders to build bridges between the systematic and social differences that divide us.
