Immunotherapies
Immunotherapy, or biotherapy, is a personalized treatment that employs the patient’s own immune system to fight deadly diseases. In recent years, immunotherapies have emerged as one of the most promising approaches to cancer treatment and auto immune diseases, which currently impact over 50 million Americans. These therapies succeed by stimulating a patient’s own immune system to fight the disease, or, in some cases, by training the immune system to target land attack hostile cells, such as cancer cells. Examples of auto immune diseases that may benefit from immunotherapies include Rheumatoid Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis and Lupus.
